Thank You Oklahoma Pork Council!

4th graders recieve grant to investigate cucurbits

Thanks to a grant from the Oklahoma Pork Council through Ag in the Classroom, Gifted and Talented fourth graders participated in a learning unit called Simply "Gourd"eous! Students learned about a variety of cucurbits (gourds) through dissection, reading, research and taste testing to name a few activities. With the grant, we were able to purchase supplies and materials, including the book, "Follow the Drinking Gourd." "The Bobcat Room" unveiled at Stephenson Cancer Center

Bridge Creek makes big difference in cancer research

A group of seniors traveled to the Stephenson Cancer Center in OKC to see the examination room that was dedicated to Bridge Creek. The seniors that attended were: (Back Row) Hannah Hayes, Jacob Powell, Stormy Wentzel, Judge Leiter, (Front Row) Braeden Jantzen, Kaitlyn Chambers; Ms. Jeri Askins was the groups guide for the day. Students submitted names for the room and voted on "The Bobcat Room" as their choice.
